What is the purpose of this page?

This page is an example of various elements that can be used to build pages. Pages are written in Markdown.

Awesome, let’s get started!

Pages are built from sections. Sections can have different background colours - like this one! Sections have at least one piece of content, and each bit of content typically has a heading.

Look, a button!

A child with dirt on their face

We’re living in the future.

Content can include images. Very impressive.

Two is better than one.

Placing multiple images in the same section will automatically place them on opposite sides of the page. On devices with small screens, they will be stacked vertically to save space.

Buttons can go anywhere!

Sections can contain quotes such as this one. Pretend I said something extremely profound.

Sometimes bigger is better.

Full-width images can be used when you want the picture to tell the story.

Here is another paragraph. It does not convey any useful information, but is simply here to ensure paragraph spacing works well on small screens.

A child looking at a dinosaur

Be bold!

Bright colours can be fun, just don’t use them too often.

A child with painted face

Show, don’t tell.

I don’t like writing, so I’m filling up the space with pictures. Maybe if I liked writing there would be more text on the page. I’m running out of things to say, so…

have a button instead!

A group of people with bikes

More pictures!

The more images, the more impressive.

Anything else?

Buttons are great for a call to action, especially in a bright section like this.
